Planar Magnetics double the size of their Stonehouse manufacturing plant.

Planar Magnetics Ltd., has doubled the size of its manufacturing facility with the addition of an extra 2500sq ft of production space at their Stroudwater Business Park site in Stonehouse. Planar operate a Research and Development Unit and a manufacturing plant specialising in the design of power components utilising planar technology.
Commenting on the acquisition of additional space, Managing Director Colin Day said, "We believe we are the only British company offering planar magnetic power transformers up to 10 kW and we are therefore gearing up to meet anticipated demand. The acquisition of more space was necessary to increase our production capability to supply medium and high volume quantities of these new components within our existing range of products".
Planar Magnetics offer a total service from magnetics design through to volume production and has developed products for power converters for use world-wide in telecommunications, automotive electronics, industrial control and industrial networks.
