Fewer design stages mean time and costs are kept to a minimum. Flexibility is key to our design strategy. The magnetic component can be fully bespoke, part of our standard range or a variation within that range. All, typically, to safety standards EN60950, UL1950, UL508C and IEC664-1. So from conception through to volume production, Planar Magnetics can combine the latest technology with the best, most cost-effective design. Quality of product is the essence of the Planar Magnetics Limited philosophy. We are a ISO9002 accredited company and operate tight quality control procedures accross the manufacturing spectrum right up to final despatch. To ensure product quality, each Planar Magnetics component undergoes full functional and flash tests plus a customer specific test procedure if required. In order to meet the increasing market need for up-to-the-minute technology and total product reliability, we also incorporate Partial Discharge testing using the latest purpose designed test equipment.
